The lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, such as pads and tampons, due to financial constraints is very prevalent here in Ghana. The effect of this is debilitating; aside girls missing school days as a result, they also face stigma and shame. It is in light of this that in my own small way, I have decided to take up this initiative of providing 20 girls with sanitary pads monthly. I’ll be more than pleased to see all of you come on board. Together, we can make a difference.
