Drivers on the Amasu stretch road to Dormaa Ahenkro and other nearby communities in the Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly of the Bono region have expressed worry over the poor road networks in the area which keeps affecting their cars and the movement of people and goods.

The drivers who could no longer rely on empty promises by government and political parties to fix the roads embarked on communal labor to ensure the Potholes that are migrating to manholes on the roads are well covered to sustain the drivers and their cars.

During the communal exercise, the drivers expressed their frustrations towards the government for the inability to fix the deplorable roads which according to them keeps affecting their operations and puts their lives in danger.

They threatened to boycott the 2024 general elections should the government continue to turn deaf ears to their plea because their contribution as drivers has significant impacts on the country’s development likewise their votes on who wins or loses.
