Opposition Is Bitter And Boring, Let Unite And Break The 8 – Samira Tells Delegates

The Second Lady, Mrs. Hajia Samira Bawumia has described a party in opposition as uncomfortable home and evil sickness with bitter and boring vacuum to stay, urging delegates of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to remain resolute and rally behind her husband Dr Bawumia who is capable uniting and retaining power for the party in 2024.

Mrs. Hajia Samira Bawumia who has been touring some constituencies in the Ashanti Region urged all to ready themselves for the 2024 polls with a united front.

“We all know what former president Kuffour has done in from 2000 to 2008 but without unity we went to opposition. In 8 years, it has been uncomfortable for us all very bitter”

“My husband Dr Bawumia left me alone at home for months in defending the party at the supreme court that we all witnessed, at the most difficult time Bawumia is always there to defend. He stood for the insults, critics and all the challenges that the party confronted at the time and now but never gave up. It’s time he leads the party to break the 8. We shouldn’t think about opposition at all, it’s bitter”.

She describes the 2024 polls as a special election for the party urging all not to be swayed by bitter talk by some persons who are threatening to take the party into opposition if their demands are not met.

On aspirants who claim the NPP is bound for opposition she said “It’s good to have a DCE in office to tell him or her your problems that the party being in opposition, there are good and better opportunities in the party in power than us in opposition so please let all give our support to the person who’s ready to and has served to unit the party for us to break the 8”

“Power and money doesn’t make one arrogant or wicked but exposes the true reality of the persons humility and my darling the vice president has proven beyond doubt that he’s humble and hardworking”, she added>
