Hi

Youth group dubbed AGOUDIENAN BIE in the New Agou of the Nkwanta South Municipal in the Oti Region, calls on authorities to call off the coronation ceremony of a self-claimed chief, UBOR TAMANJA YEHOWA II which is slated on Saturday 6th of May, 2023 at the New Agou Town Park behind the Military Baracks.

According to the group, the self-claimed chief, UBOR TAMANJA YEHOWA II is a settler in the land of New Agou and under no circumstances can he be chief of New Agou, a land for the Bogon – Challa.

They added that, this self-claimed Chief UBOR TAMANJA YEHOWA II is dragging this chieftaincy issue with one KONJA at the high court claiming to be the landlord’s of New Agou which, the High court has not given any verdict but UBOR TAMANJA YEHOWA II has taken the laws of the country into his own hands by organizing a coronation ceremony to outdoor himself as the chief of New Agou, which the landlord, NANA OFUA ABALAI as not given any approval to coronating a sub-Chief.

” If  UBOR TAMANJA YEHOWA II is claiming to be the chief of New Agou is indeed the landlord, then we are not having any problem with but he should wait until the High court pass it’s verdict because we believe in the rule of law” they included.

“We are for peace and peace is what we seek but if authorities did not take any immediate action, blood might flow” they wow.
