Hon. Joseph Kwaku Nayan submitting his forms to the NPP Nkwanta North Constituency Elections Committee

 

The two term Member of parliament for Nkwanta North, Joseph Kwaku Nayan, has formerly filed his nominations to contest the upcoming Nkwanta North Parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party.

Hundreds of NPP supporters, polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, former constituency executives, elders of the party among many other key stakeholders in the constituency turned out massively to support him submit the forms to the elections committee.

The mammoth crowd in the charged atmosphere march through the principal streets of the capital, Kpassa to exchange pleasantries with youth groups and elders in the community amidst drumming and dancing.

Addressing the public, the deputy minerals commission CEO, former MP assured the people of Nkwanta North of his unwavering commitment to work and serve the constituency with integrity when given the node in the party’s internal elections and consequently in the 2024 general elections, adding that he has an unfinished business in the constituency.

 

He said the day marked a significant milestone in his journey for a brighter future together with the people of Nkwanta North, and with humility that he seeks a second chance to represent the hopes and aspirations of the constituency.

He therefore reaffirmed his resolve to serve the constituency with a humble heart and an unwavering dedication and service with integrity.

According to him, the Members of Parliament who have served the constituency since 2012 failed to bring the requisite development to the constituency and urged the constituents to all nonperforming MPs.

He said the youth must also be cautious with the way and manner they ride their motorbikes as the campaign intensifies ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Some of the jubilant NPP supporters and delegates who spoke to Ghanaxpress.com described as the savior of the people and well connected in the political domain.

They believe the Deputy CEO has what it takes and integrity to recapture the seat from the NDC in 2024 and salvage the people from their predicaments.

The youth also pointed out to some of the infrastructure projects springing up in the constituency and commended his for prioritizing their developmental needs.
