NDC Sagnarigu Constituency Boiling as Youth Calls on National Executives To Disqualify Parliamentary Candidate

We have noted with concern and alarm that Mr Attah Issah, one of the parliamentary hopefuls for the Sagnarigu constituency has breached the party’s directive suspending campaigns in constituencies where the NDC has sitting MPs. Mr Attah Issah honoured a radio interview last night ( Dagbon FM ) and spoke at length about why he should be given the nod to represent Sagnarigu constituency in the 9th parliament. We are disheartened that while the sitting MP, Hon Alhaji A B A Fuseini has suspended campaigning and is in Accra in obedience to the party’s wishes, this over – ambitious parliamentary hopeful is stopping at nothing, including violating the party’s directive to achieve victory in the upcoming primaries. We are by this notice petitioning the:

The National Executive committee
The Chairman of the party
The General Secretary of the party
The Regional Executive committee
The Vetting committee for the Sagnarigu constituency to take action against this brazen and blatant disregard for the party’s directive.

If punitive action is not taken against some of these acts of insubordination and lawlessness, the party’s efforts at exacting compliance from the membership will be undermined.
