As part of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection’s (MoGCSP) efforts to strengthen social intervention systems, the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR) was established and operationalized to serve as a data hub for harmonizing social interventions across the country.

The primary goal of GNHR is to increase understanding on poverty and vulnerability issues by strengthening Social Protection (SP) policies at MoGCSP

One of the core mandates of the GNHR is to disseminate the data the Registry has collected to key stakeholders across the country.

In view of the above, the GNHR is holding a Data Dissemination Tour for some Technical Officers in the Upper West Region.

The move is to promote the wide use of the data for the purposes of public policy planning and management, research, and development in the areas of social Protection, share excerpts of findings from previous data collection exercises among others.
