The Central region National Democratic Congress (NDC), has launched a campaign kit to endorse and declare its unflinching support for John Mahama.

According to the team, it is only president John Mahama who can lead win the elections for the NDC come 2024.

The 12-member Central Region campaign team for John Dramani Mahama was inaugurated in Cape Coast in the central region of Ghana.

The ceremony, which was attended by the Regional Chairman, Noble Professor Richard Asiedu, was performed at the Regional party office.

The campaign team, chaired by Nana Phillip Archer, is made up of eminent members of the NDC from the Central Region, including former members of Parliament, former regional executives, and former appointees of the NDC government.

 

Dr James Kofi Annan, the 2020 NDC Effutu constituency parliamentary candidate, was appointed the Spokesperson to the John Mahama campaign in the Central Region.

In an inaugural statement, the Chairman of the regional team urged members to work hard towards galvanising over 99.9% votes for John Mahama in the region.

 

The full membership of the regional campaign team are Nana Philip Archer (Chairperson), Prof. Lawrence Atepor, Mr. Max Cobbinah, Alhaji Rashid Abubakar, Hon. Samuel Ambre, Hon. Alex Dewise Antwi Boasiako, Mr. Stephen Edward Moore, Madam Ekuwa Swanzy, Mr. James Nunoo, Prof. George Kwaku Toku Oduro, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi, and James Kofi Annan.

The work of the campaign team starts immediately and shall visit each of the 23 constituencies in the region in anticipation of John Mahama’s entry into the region.

The team pledged their total supports for H.E John Mahama and urged the rank and file of the party to commence door-to-door campaign for the victory of NDC is nonnegotiable.

The team admonished all members to put in motion measures and strategies to actualize the set target going into 2024 elections.
