The Constituency secretary of the NDC in the Tano South constituency of the Ahafo Region, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong has disclosed that, total of 4 aspirants have filled their nomination and endorsement forms by the close of the stipulated time and date for the processes with 2 aspirants filling on the First day and the remaining two on the last day.

 

In a statement monitored by High News, he said that ” By the close of the filing period on Wednesday, 22/03/23, the following Parliamentary Candidate Aspirants had successfully filed their nomination and endorsement forms.

He provided the Details as follow;

 

Monday, 20/03/23

 

2:08pm, Hon David Kwasi Boanyo filed his nomination and endorsement forms.

 

4:26pm, Hon Dr Nana Agyemang Prempeh filed his nomination and endorsement forms.

Wednesday, 22/03/23

 

3:47pm, Mr. David Nigaabom filed nomination and endorsement forms on behalf of Hon Usman Fakih Suallah.

 

4:39pm, Hon Charles Akwasi Asiedu filed his nomination and endorsement forms.

All nomination and endorsement forms were received by Mr. Ernest Kofi Baah Junior (Const Elections Director, CEC Member) at the Party Office, Bechem, on behalf of the CEC.

Summarily, the CEC received completed forms from four (4) parliamentary candidate aspirants.

“Filing of nomination and endorsement forms are hereby duly closed”. He stated.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, he charged all aspirants to be wary of how they carry their campaign messages across to prevent future uncontrollable circumstances as a result of bad communication that may go against other contestants.

 

He said all the contestants are members of the great National Democratic Congress who are fighting for a common goal in ensuring the party wins in the upcoming general elections to be able to facilitate development for Ghana and Tano South constituency hence using abusive words against contestants in the internal elections may create disunity within the party which will affect the winning ability of the party in 2024.
