The newly elected parliamentary candidate of the Ahafo Ano South-West constituency for the NPP, Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah revealed that he was already expecting to win 70 to 90% of the votes ahead of the parliamentary elections.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on the Wontumi morning show, Elvis mentioned that his absence at the election center was the reason why his opponents had some sympathy votes.

He traces his win to the mindset of the masses not just the delegates, he believes the outcome is the true reflection of what the people of Ahafo Ano South-West constituency are yearning for.

“Our research shows that we can increase our vote difference to 8,000 and more”

The population of Ahafo Ano South-West is over 60,000 from our last census but we always have a low voter turnout because most of our people have migrated to Kumasi and Accra and for this our plan for the 2024 general election is to bus all netizens from far and near to come home and exercise their franchise.
