We will challenge Canada if Dr. Bawumia wins the election – Chairman Wontumi

“We will challenge Canada if Dr. Bawumia wins the 2024 General election” The Ashanti regional chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, has stated.

According to the Chairman, the NPP will transform roads across the nation, to match the quality of Canada’s, if the flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is voted into power in the forthcoming election.

He made this known when the NPP Canada branch celebrated their 32 years anniversary in New York, on May, 26, 2024.

The programme saw the attendance of the vice president and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia and other dignitaries.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Wontumi stressed the transformational programmes that will be implemented when the NPP breaks the eight on December 7.

“When the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes the next president of the republic of Ghana, all our roads will be fixed to meet Canada’s standards.

I was with president Akufo-Addo four days ago, and he told me that no one is powerful than the vice president, leader, and flagbearer of our party. He said since 1992, no candidate has ever had three  important positions like Dr. Bawumia, however, we will capitalise on this to break the eight in the election” he said.

He also entreated the party members to rally their support to Dr. Bawumia to secure a win in the election.

“We will need your help to make all these possible. Tell somebody to call a friend at home to campaign for Dr. Bawumia” he added.
