The Oti Regional communication director of the ruling New Patriotic Party Mr. Seidu Musah has acknowledged the economic difficulties Ghana is facing.

He stated despite the economic challenges being faced by the country, it doesn’t denote the collapse of the country’s economy indicating that a collapsed economy can not run all the developmental projects and other social intervention programs instituted by the Akufo Addo – Bawumia government.

Mr. Seidu Musah  speaking in an interview with Evans Manasseh on Oti-based Sankofa FM stressed that a collapsed economy cannot be running Free SHS, can not be paying salaries of workers every month, cannot keep our lights on till this time of the year because the mismanagement of the economy saw series of power fluctuations under the administration of Former president John Mahama stressing that a collapsed economy cannot be recruiting personnel into the other sectors of work and a collapsed economy cannot achieve the extraordinary success scored by the NPP president Akufo Addo.

He indicated that when the country’s economy collapsed under the leadership of the NDC, all social intervention programs were canceled, hence bringing John Mahama as NDC’s presidential candidate is no news because the executives and members of the NPP are very aware that John Mahama will highly lose in the 2024 elections since he offered nothing positive for the good people of Ghana in his four your mandate as a president of the land.

He added that as we speak, the NDC has not been able to collate their 2020 elections results so they didn’t need to take court action against the electoral commission for alleged election rigging. He noted that the NDC since its formation has done nothing good for the country but only been proactive in staging the nation into debts and economic hardship citing the administration of the late Jerry John Rawlings as an example explaining that his poor administration compelled Kuffour to lead the country to HIPC after which the economy was stabilized and later Professor Mills and John Mahama again took over and led the country to IMF with their poor governance leading us to series of power fluctuations titled DUMSOR that famously took over the whole world.

He added that the NDC masterminded the cancellation of most social intervention programs introduced by Kuffour which means the umbrella party has nothing better to offer Ghanaians.
