Last Sunday in Kumasi, the running mate to the flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as NAPO was in Kumasi and he spoke at the official launch of the Ashanti Regional campaign working committees and women’s conference.
What Dr Prempeh said in relation to how he referenced former President John Evans Atta Mills when he was talking about past presidents has generated public interest and discussion on social media.
Majority of discussants on X, are of the opinion that Dr Prempeh’s reference to former President Mills was unsavoury.
Dr Prempeh was talking about the contributions of past presidents to Ghana’s development.
