VIDEO:Family House of Akua Donkor ready to mourn late Ghana Freedom Party flagbearer

Media General’s Akoma FM in Kumasi has shared videos from the family house of the late leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP).

From the videos, elders in the family are gathered, awaiting visitors who will join them in mourning and an official announcement of the death of their mother.

Clad in black, signifying they have lost a loved one, family heads numbering about 10 are seated.

Akua Donkor was reported dead on October 28, 2024.

She is said to have died at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, popularly known as Ridge Hospital, where she was transferred from the Nsawam Government Hospital.

Akua Donkor was expected to lead the Ghana Freedom Party in the 2024 election.
