Trump Calls For Hamas To Be CRUSHED ‘For Its ‘Act Of Savagery’ On Israel

Donald Trump said Hamas’ bloody attack on Israel is an ‘act of savagery that must be crushed’ and blamed Joe Biden for being a weak and ineffective leader.

The former president, speaking at his presidential rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, condemned the attacks and used it as an opportunity to once again whack his political rival.

The former president, speaking at his presidential rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, condemned the attacks and used it as an opportunity to once again whack his political rival.

‘The terror invasion of Israeli territory and the murder of Israeli soldiers and citizens is an act of savagery that must be, and will be, crushed and avenged,’ he said.

‘As president, I will once again stand with Israel and we will cut off the money to Palestinian terrorists on day one, he told the cheering crowds.’

The Republican told another rally in Waterloo, Iowa that Democrat Biden had made the US look weak on the world stage.

‘The Israeli attack was made because we are perceived as being weak and ineffective and with a really weak leader,’ he said.

‘It was a big attack with a lot of dead people all over the place. Who would think that? And the only difference, I believe, is the difference between one president and another president.’

Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday, striking by land, air and sea.

The attacks left more than 300 dead 1,590 injured in just the first 24 hours.

‘This is our 9/11,’ Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan said in an appearance on Fox News Saturday. ‘Babies, women, the elderly were dragged outside of their homes, were taken hostage.’

‘These animals will pay a heavy price and they will learn that these atrocities cannot be committed again against our civilians,’ he said

Hamas, the de facto governing authority of the Gaza Strip, claims to have fired 5,000 rockets into Israel, setting off air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

The coordinated attack has seen border fences broken down, tanks immobilised, dozens of hostages reportedly taken and residential buildings targeted by airstrikes.

The murder of civilians has drawn widespread condemnation from world leaders and prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to say the country is at ‘war’.

Running gun battles continued on the streets of Israel early on Sunday, some 24 hours after the assault began.

Biden has offered his ‘unwavering’ support to Israel and said it has ‘a right to defend itself and its people.’

‘This is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks, to seek an advantage,’ he said. ‘The world is watching’.

Biden spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the phone on Saturday morning to offer US support.

The White House condemned the ‘unprovoked attacks’ against Israeli civilians issuing a strong statement on Saturday morning.

‘The United States unequivocally condemns the unprovoked attacks by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians. There is never any justification for terrorism,’ National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said in the statement
