The Tissue and Organ transplantation law is going to benefitial to our health system-Dr.Nsiah Asare

Speaking on the Wontumi morning show with Akyemkwaa Nana Kofi Asare, Dr. Nsiah Asare explained that most chronic diseases are very expensive and complicated to deal with. It is running most people on dialysis and other treatments down financially since they have to be cared for every week.

He further elaborated that the Ghana Kidney Association, Ghana Cardiology Association and others over the years have prepared a document on how to draft a bill for “The Tissue and Organ transplant law” which will allow people to donate parts of the human bodies for transplanting.

“This will protect health practitioners who engage in transplantation in the country” – He added
