Mr. Charles Asiedu, the parliamentary candidate hopeful for the NDC in the Tano South Constituency in the Ahafo region is optimistic about winning the incoming parliamentary primaries and subsequently dethroning the NPP member of parliament of the constituency to take over the seat as Member of Parliament for the Tano south constituency.

Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa of High Radio, he stated that he will work in collaboration with party leadership and the entire supporters and followers of the party to ensure massive unity to be able to work hard to be able to recapture the seat from NPP.

Mr. Charles Asiedu affirmed that when he sails through the party primaries and subsequently wins the 2024 general election, the Tano south seat will forever be ruled by him (Charles Asiedu) and NDC until he decides to resign from the contest indicating that he will work hard with enthusiasm and the willingness to turn over a new leaf of the municipal with developmental projects and other avenues that will ameliorate hardship from the constituents.

Mr. Charles Asiedu, who is a son of the NDC’s National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia added that he has a great future for his political career which according to him will not finish off at only his parliamentary ambition but shall travel beyond that stressing that he has planned to move a step forward after serving as a member of parliament hence he must be real and accountable to people and his constituents and he will ensure he does exactly that.

He, therefore, pleaded with the delegates who keep calling him about his intentions to contest and campaign plans to exercise patience because the party is governed by rules and regulations.

He noted that he will as soon as possible hit the grounds running when the time is due for campaigns and its related activities so party delegates must have enough trust and confidence in him and ensure he is voted for in the upcoming parliamentary primaries because his impact on the NDC from branch to international level denotes his readiness to work assiduously for the party and the people in the Tano south municipality to leave a legacy in Tano South constituency.
