Video: Sponsor Wontumi TV to bring back ‘District Dairy Programme to promote gov’t projects -Obiri Boahen appeals to NPP

The former deputy general secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) , Lawyer Obiri Boahen has called on the NPP, and its leadership to canvass support to Kumasi based Wontumi TV and Wontumi Multimedia to continue to promote government’s project ahead of the upcoming elections.
According to him, the district dairy programme initiated by Wontumi TV, is to create awareness on the various projects that has been undertaken by the government.
Speaking on State of Ghana Show on Wontumi TV, he emphasised on how the district diary show is pertinent in the NPP’s campaign ahead 2024 polls.
“The show which was done every week informs all Ghanaians on the projects by the government in all 275 Constituencies. I am therefore appealing to the manifesto committee and the entire leadership to sponsor this programme” he said.
He added that the ‘State Of Ghana Show’ give him the opportunity to share the history of Ghana, Ethnic Groups, Political Parties and many others that attract more listeners and viewers which he described as a show beyond campaign rally.
“Wontumi TV and Radio have done it for us in 2020 and we need to consider their impact and sponsor them to do same at this crucial moment, I’ll inform the manifesto committee to take it into consideration”
He further stated that, this will be an effective tool that will contribute to the victory of the NPP in the forthcoming elections.
