SELECTING NPP PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES WILL BE FREE AND FAIR – CHAIRMAN WONTUMI ASSURES

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Bernard Antwi
Boasiako has assured all Parliamentary aspirants in the 2024 elections that the
process of electing qualified candidates will solely be based on merit and not by
any considerations.
Chairman Wontumi as the Regional Chairman is fondly called, emphasised that
the selection process will strictly be clothed in a free and fair approach.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman was speaking in an
exclusive interview with Nana
Abu Prah., stand- in early morning talk show host, Privilege Morning Show on Wontumi TV and Radio in Kumasi.

Chairman Wontumi who was commenting on Tuesday’s selection of candidates for
the three orphan constituencies in Ashanti said the exercise was successful.
According to him the playing field was levelled for each of the aspirants to be
vetted.

Chairman Wontumi had a special advice for the aspirants. He
cautioned that it is only by one’s good works, how he or she relates to ones constituents which will influence the choice of the delegates
