A group called Ashanti Youth of NPP has tipped the former Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Samuel Pyne, as be the predecessor of Chairman Wontumi as the NPP Ashanti Regional chairman.

This revelation comes as no surprise, given Pyne’s impressive background in politics and governance. With over 12 years of experience as the Regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region, Pyne has established himself as a stalwart in the party.

The vacancy has been a great contention since there’s been lot of names that had showninterest in the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship, Workaholic Sam Pyne has been in the forefront of the party for long and knows the in and outs of the party tradition, his caring heart makes him liked by many. He understands the plight of delegates and Ghanaians as a whole.

Pyne’s credentials are impeccable. As a professional teacher, he has taught at almost all levels of education in the country. He is also a local governance practitioner, administrator, and sustainable development advocate.

Ashanti Youth acknowledged his experience as an Assembly Member on three different occasions, serving the Aowin Municipal, Afigya Sekyere District, and Afigya Kwabre District, has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of local governance.

Pyne’s educational background is equally impressive, with a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Education, Winneba, and two master’s degrees from the University of Cape Coast and the Local Government Institute, Accra.

He understand working with the grassroots and the youths in the party making him a selfeless candedate for the chairmanship role in the Ashanti Region
