Reviewing the dual citizenship law is a great policy – NPP -USA Branch Organizer to Bawumia

Danny Opoku Antwi, NPP -USA Branch Organizer says he is elated about the Veep, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s policy to review the dual citizenship policy.

He said this, following the presentation of policies to the nation by the vice president on 7th February 2024.

Speaking in an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu, he emphatically stated that it is important for the law to be revised as it will be beneficial to citizens living abroad. He was also very optimistic about the flat tax policy which will be implemented when Dr. Bawumia is elected into office.

“The flat tax policy will alleviate the burden on importers especially those who deal with vehicles ” Mr. Opoku Antwi said. He finally said the policy of the vice president to put in place measures to reduce the cost of internet when elected into office is pivotal in our economic development.

“The cost of data in Ghana is very expensive unlike the USA. I recharge 40 dollars for data every month which is effective for browsing, calls, and others. Purchasing data in Ghana can only be used for browsing” he added.
