Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum believes that people who say Ghana’s education system has retrogressed are ignorant of developments in the sector.

According to him, Ghana’s education sector has rather seen progress considering the investments in the sector.

Dr Yaw Adutwum was addressing Ghanaian parents on Education when he made this known.

“People say education in Ghana has seen retrogression, but that is not the case, they are rather ignorant of the gains we have made in the sector and the transformation going on there. We have rather improved our education, and we are now highly competitive at the global levels,” he said.

People from other countries are coming to Ghana to learn from us. I have received Ministers from Uganda, Liberia, and Sierra Leone have come to my office to learn how we are doing it. We will become an EduToiurism Hub in the coming years because of the great investments we have made in the sector.

It is imperative that we keep the NPP in power to be able to build on these gains we have made in the education sector in the country,” he said.
