In an extraordinary display of unity and resolve, the NPP UK Branch, under the leadership of Mr Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong (Wofa K) in collaboration with UK for DMB, hosted a memorable unity party at the Dominion Center in Wood Green in London, on Saturday 2nd of March, 2024. The event, meticulously organised to rally support for Dr. Bawumia, saw a remarkable turnout of members both from within and outside the NPP UK community.

Speeches from the speakers at the event including Mr. Alolo Mutaka from the Office  of the Vice President and a lead on fundraising for the Bawumia campaign team, Ms Abigail Laryea, Deputy CEO of NEIP, Mr. Kwabena Frimpong- NPP Deputy Director of Protocol, Mr Antwi Okyere Darko-Chairman of Strategic Group B, Lawyer Bennard-YEF Chairman and Mr. Alex Appiah Mensah- NPP UK 1st Vice Chairman, had one theme -UNITY FOR DR. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The atmosphere was electric, a testament to the enthusiasm and dedication of the attendees towards a common goal – to mobilize support for Dr. Bawumia  now and December 2024.The Dominion Centre buzzed with energy, as members from various Chapters  of the Branch, as well as various volunteer groups for Dr Bawumia in the UK including Diaspora for DMB, Bawumia Must Win(BMW), Friends of Bawumia (FOB), Bawumia Ladies, Nana Addo Ladies and UK Youth for DMB came together, united by a shared vision for the future.

The unity party was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of collective resolve and commitment. The good food, the captivating music, and the infectious spirit of motivation created an environment that was both uplifting and inspiring. It was a perfect blend of enjoyment and purpose, where members could unwind and at the same time, reinforce their commitment to a cause that is noble and close to their hearts.

One of the highlights of the event was the pledge made by Branch and Chapter executives. In a moment of profound unity and determination, they vowed to mobilise resources and support efforts to deliver the UK to Dr. Bawumia in December 2024. This pledge is not just a promise but a testament to the unwavering support and belief in Dr. Bawumia’s vision for the future.

The unity party at the Dominion Centre was a clear demonstration of the NPP UK’s solidarity and commitment to Dr. Bawumia. It showed that when members come together, united by a common purpose, there is nothing they cannot achieve. The event was not only a celebration of unity but also a beacon of hope and motivation for everyone involved, signaling a brighter future under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia.
