The former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency and former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Catherine Ablema Afeku has called on fellow contestants in the NPP parliamentary seat in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency to campaign on their own messages to enhance a peaceful polls.

The former MP after receiving her nomination forms from the teeming supporters used the occasion to advise her fellow contestants to have their own message and vision for the constituency and to desist from insults

She emphasized that whoever emerges winner amongst them will need the rest to campaign for the NPP.

Addressing party folks at the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency after receiving her nomination forms, she urged them to keep their hopes alive, campaign on her records and have confidence of winning the seat back to continue what she couldn’t complete.

The aspirant used the opportunity to call for unity noting that it is key for the success of the party, encouraging them not to be intimidated by anyone within or outside the constituency and to vote with their conscience.

“As a delegate in this constituency, does any presidential candidate live here ?when it comes to your funerals does any presidential candidate come here? So know that there are two seats that of the constituency and that of jubilee. Whoever wins here will go to Parliament and the presidential candidate will go to jubilee,” she stated.

She said her vision for the constituency is to fix Brawire and Akyinim and the Gwira roads. “Let others tell their vision for the constituency” she challenged.

Catherine Afeku, said the campaign in the constituency has nothing to do with the presidential candidate one may support therefore delegate should acknowledge message and vision in the parliamentary contest.

She reiterated that they all knew she was working for Alan her constituency chairman was working for Bawumia and her campaign manager was a Kennedy fan that was the beauty of democratic choice that the NPP stands for and not intimidation.
