The District Chief Executive of Nkwanta North district in the Oti Region, Hon. Nawungma K William has proclaimed the readiness of the NPP to break the 8 despite strong resistance from the National Democratic Congress. He emphasized that his detractors are entitled to their opinions hence they can use any form of criticism against him but he is only focused on divulging the good work of Nana Akuffo Addo and his NPP government to the masses to strengthen their breaking the eight agenda.
The District Chief executive speaking in an exclusive interview with Manasseh Evans noted that the NPP government under the leadership of President Akuffo Addo has laid down a series of developmental projects in the Nkwanta North constituency and the Oti region at large which according to him has enhanced the social and economic conditions of the citizenry.
He stressed that President Akuffo has Awarded the Kpassa – Kanbonwule road that connects the district capital to other villages to a contractor with many other physical development projects underway.
He indicated the Akuffo Addo and Bawumia governments are keen to improve the socio-economic conditions of the people hence the implementation of several developmental projects in the country. He noted their readiness to complete a football pitch construction initiated by the member of parliament which was put on hold for reasons best known to the MP of which the assembly has agreed to furnish its completion to serve as a playing ground for the youths in sporting activities
He finally expressed concerns about the Lack of an effective community center which keeps hunting them whenever there is a public gathering in his constituency and so his outfit is ready to initiate the building of a community center to facilitate all public gatherings in the Nkwanta North district and its environs.
