The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a stern warning to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing them of pushing the ruling party to a very unsustainable place with their constant attacks and criticism.
According to the National Communication Director, Richard Ahiagbah, the NDC’s actions are aimed at provoking them into taking drastic measures, which could have dire consequences for the country’s democracy.
“The NDC’s leadership is deliberately pushing us to a very unsustainable place, and we will not hesitate to take action if they continue down this path,” said Richard Ahiagba
The NPP claims that the NDC’s tactics are designed to create chaos and instability, and that they will not be swayed by the opposition’s antics.
“We will not be provoked into taking actions that will compromise the peace and stability of this country,” the spokesperson added. “But we will also not sit idly by while the NDC continues to undermine our democratic institutions.”
The NDC has denied the allegations, accusing the NPP of trying to silence them and stifle their right to free speech.
The political tension between the two parties continues to escalate, with many Ghanaians worried about the implications for the country’s democracy and stability.
