My opponents are scared of victory – Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has predicted that the results of November 4, 2023 would be more devastating than what happened during the Special Delegates Congress on August 26, 2023.

He noted that his opponents are already scared of the impending defeat and are therefore peddling all manner of falsehood but urged his supporters to remain focused and await the victory.

“As we are getting to November 4, some of our opponents are getting more and more afraid. They know that given what is happening the results of November 4 will even be more devastating than that of August 26”, he envisaged at a mini rally in Bolgatanga to climax his campaign.

The Vice President observed that the shock waves of the impending defeat that waits  his opponents has resulting in some of the peddling all manner of lies aimed at creating confusion among the ranks within the party.

“They are trying to bring conflict among us by telling lies, big lies…white lies. But I want to tell you, you should ignore all those lies and let us stay united, let us stay focused”, he urged.

According to him, it is expected that these persons he refused to name will come out with more lies as the day for the polls draw closer but urged delegated not to be swayed.

“We will continue to ignore them and we will go and vote 100% for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia”, he told delegates.

About 200,000 delegates are expected to cast their votes in the election and voting would commence at 7 a.m. and close at 2 p.m per the guidelines issued by the party for the conduct of the November 4 polls.
