A former Director of Communications of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has labelled the flagship 24-hour economic policy of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama as a one which was borne out of the digitisation agenda of the Vice President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The NDC Flagbearer launched the 24-hour economy as his flagship policy going into the December 2024 polls claiming that would be the game changer for the country’s development.
Several businesses are going to operate 24 hours to ensure that the country’s economy is revolutionalised to provide employment for the citizenry.
Commenting on this policy on Angel Morning Show (AMS), Yaw Adomako Baafi said the policy is only a microc0sym of the bigger Digitisation agenda of the NPP.
“As for Mahama’s 24 hour economy, it’s nothing new but just a subset of Bawumia’s digitisation agenda…,” he told host, Kwadwo Oppong Kyeremeh.
To him, the Digitisation agenda is the way forward for Ghana and hence called on Ghanaian voters to buy into it.
