Immediately after the late former President Mills died, his successor John Dramani Mahama disband a prayer warrior group setup at Osu Castle, Koku Anyidoho has revealed.
Former President Mahama didn’t like and felt disturbed by the morning prayers offered by a group his late boss established to protect staff from spiritual and physical harm.
For that reason, Mr. Mahama threw the prayer warrior group away from the Office of the President which was then situated at Osu.
“We all know President Mills feared God so he even brought national day of prayer and thanksgiving. Every year, he had a plan for to set aside a day for Christians to gather at Independence Square for prayers. 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, he organised it before God called him.
John Mahama when you took over from him, you didn’t do that in 2013, you cancelled it. 2014, 2015 and 2016 you didn’t do it and Ghanaians voted you out.
Prayer warriors that I personally know were praying for President Mills at Castle, as soon as you took over, you disbanded those groups. I don’t know what happened at Flagstaff House because I wasn’t there with you. But for the few months I spent with you at Castle, I know you didn’t respect the prayer warriors”, he said.
