The Electoral Commission (EC) has once again admitted to errors in the figures it published for the number of persons who have registered so far in the ongoing limited registration exercise.

The electoral body published on Sunday on Facebook and its website new figures for the registration exercise spanning 11 days.

Barely after 24 hours of publishing the figures, it has been disclosed that the Greater Accra Region was wrongly repeated for the Upper East on the slide on Challenge cases earlier published.

However, it said all other slides are correct.
“The Commission has noted the figure for Greater Accra was wrongly repeated for the Upper East on the slide on Challenge cases earlier published. All the other slides are correct.

The Commission has today met with the team responsible for developing the infographics and made significant changes. In addition, more rigorous methods will be instituted going forward. Please see the corrected slide on the challenge cases and the rest of the slides. Thank you, the EC said.
