Political Analyst and a Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Mr Jonathan-Asante Otchere has said Presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Hon Kennedy Agyapong cannot win the 2024 presidential elections should he lead his party.

Mr. Jonathan-Asante Otchere argues that the Assin Central MP could have been the best president for the Republic of Ghana considering the current state of the country but his human rights records in Ghana are too bad.

He noted that Kennedy Agyapong can fast revolutionize things as soon as possible to change the fortunes of the country considering his strict nature.

“Looking at the current situation of the country, Kennedy Agyapong would have been the best man who can revolutionize the system. His main problem is that he has a bad human rights record. He doesn’t respect people.” Mr Jonathan-Asante Otchere disclosed on Angel FM Kumasi in an interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com.

Citing the flaws of Hon Kennedy Agyapong, the political analyst said his penchant for insults bring disgrace to people and also noted for fighting women unnecessarily.

“The kind of insults, the level of disgrace, he brings upon people on his TV show ‘The Boiling Point’ and the unnecessary fights he engages himself with women among others makes him unsuitable. There are countless of them. The issue of Ahmed Suale and  insults of judges”, he mentioned

He however advised the flagbearer hopeful “If you knew you have a presidential ambition you should have learnt how to conduct yourself. I don’t see how Ghanaians will tolerate such a person as their president”
