Former National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah says it is about time pollster and Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper Ben Ephson’s research is looked at.
He says the veteran Journalist’s research has, for some time now, given false hope and false impressions to people contesting political positions.
Bernard Mornah believes that it is worrying how Ben Ephson keeps getting his polls wrong, and he has therefore called for a stop to his polls.
Bernard Mornah made this known when he was speaking on Accra-based UTV.
I don’t know where he does his research or where he gets his figures from, but going forward, I know a majority of Ghanaians will take his research with a pinch of salt. It looks like he sits in his office, and when he is happy, he writes about elections.
Benard Mornah continued, “He said Kennedy Agyapong lost 10% of his votes because of his first showdown, but that was not the case. He improved on his numbers. Kennedy Agyapong put up a wow performance. When I was monitoring the elections, people said the man may get 20% but all of a sudden we realized he was doing extremely well. We were wowed by his performance, and this was an exact showdown”.
