Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong is in Prague the capital city of the Czech Republic to participate in the 7th World Engineers Convention from 11th to 13th October. The theme of the summit is ENGINEERING FOR LIFE-BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES AND CAPACITY BUILDING FOCUSED ON UN SDGS.

The Convention is being hosted by Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies CSVTS in collaboration with UNESCO and under the auspices of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations WFEO at the Prague Congress Centre.

Ing. Agyepong who has since 2017 been a member of the WFEO Standing Technical Committee on Engineering and Environment CEE will attend both the annual meeting of the CEE and the Standing Technical Committee on Water as well. The WFEO is the apex body representing over 30million Engineers around the world.

Speaking to newsmen just before departure, Ing Agyepong said this biannual event brings together Engineers on a global scale in a collective effort to amplify the importance and impact of Engineering on our lives to pave the way for a prosperous future driven by Engineering excellence and collective action.
