The District Chief Executive Officer (DCE) of Amansie South District in the Ashanti Region Lawyer Clement Opoku Gyamfi has called on the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to immediately make amends with the founder of ‘Movement for Change Mr John Alan Kyerematen before it is too late.

According to Mr Clement Opoku Gyamfi,  the 2024 General Elections is not going to be like what the country has had in previous years under the Fourth Republic where the main opposing party was only the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

To him, NPP is now going to be faced with forces from the NDC and ‘Movement for Change’ which will make their party suffer at the end with heavy punches from these parties.

“If anybody tells you that, Alan Kyerematen cannot harm our party (NPP) with his movement and all that he has been doing, then the person is not being truthful. If it is possible for us to make amends with him, we must do it”. Mr Clement Opoku Gyamfi pleaded on Angel FM in an interview.

The DCE further revealed that he is aware there is some engagement by the party and Mr Alan Kyerematen which needs to be strengthened.
