Once a lecturer to the junior sister of Okudzeto Ablakwa, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has revealed how documents were forged by the Member of Parliament to move his sister out Ghana on government scholarship she didn’t deserve.

Lawyer Ampaw explained that during his lecturing days at Meridian pre-university, his student Mary Ablakwa was given forged documents by the loudmouth Member of Parliament for North Tongu who was then a deputy minister to study at Wisconsin in the United States of America.

This your sister was my student at a time when I had lectured at Central University, All Nations University and five other universities before coming to Meridian pre-university to teach Company Law and Business Law.

That is when Okudzeto Ablakwa brought this sister of his to the school. So this girl was my student in her first year. Okudzeto Ablakwa you came to the school to drop your sister, I saw you at that time. Mary Ablakwa, this girl as soon Okudzeto became minister he didn’t allow her to complete school but flew her abroad to school in Wisconsin. Okudzeto where did you get the money from?” he asked.

Your sister didn’t qualify but you forged documents for her to get government scholarship. Okudzeto Ablakwa this is what you did and landed your junior sister in trouble in the US”, he said.

He explained that he was around when the sister of Ablakwa was forced to stop schooling in Ghana so she can use forged documents to study in USA.

Exactly three months when you became minister, you came to the school to withdraw the girl and I was there. And you took your sister to the US on government scholarship to continue her education”, he said.

Speaking on Wontumi TV last Sunday, lawyer Ampaw challenged the North Tongu MP to tell Ghanaians how he was able to foot the bill of his sister just three months of being named minister in the erstwhile government of the late former President John Evans Atta Mills.

You have always been a pauper and never worked after school. You became a minister and rich overnight”, he said.

Lawyer Ampaw made it clear he knows the background of the MP and how poor his parents were.

Ablakwa helped his sister to forged documents to get government scholarship. Where did you get the money from just three months after becoming deputy minister as somebody who hasn’t worked before; somebody who is coming from a very poor family? I know your mum and dad and you were very poor and couldn’t even afford anything in life”, he said.
