Ghana’s Head of Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria, Alhaji Rashid Bawa has warned Ghanaians leaving in Nigeria to stay Away from tomorrow’s general elections in the country.

 

Speaking in an interview with Evans Manasseh on Oti based Sankofa fm, the high commissioner said, the Nigerian president, H.E Buhari, has issued a statement to all foreigners to isolate themselves from their elections, hence, he has informed all Ghanaians to abide by the rules and laws of the country. He said, they’ve close contact with Ghanaians and have given out contacts to call anytime they fined difficulties in the process.

“We’ve close contact with all Ghanaians and urged them to call us for help”, he said

He added that, over two million Ghanaians leaving in Nigeria and have assured them the high commissioners office is ever ready to evaquate them back to Ghana when the need arises.
