Ghana needs a thinker, not a vision less leader like Mahama- DCE, Sekyere Kumawu

The district chief executive for Sekyere Kumawu, Samuel Addai Agyekum has admonished electorates to vote for an innovative candidate like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.

He is of the view that, the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia possesses competency than any of his contenders.

Speaking on Kessben Adwenkyere Show, the DCE berated former president, John Dramani Mahama, citing his inability to provide jobs for the youths and also develop the nation.

“Mahama was a leader from 2013 to 2017. He did not employ the youths. Those that he could employ, received only three months of their salary. He said he was never going to pay Nurses and Teachers training allowance.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has restored the allowance and has started paying. This should tell us how far Bawumia is in terms of integrity, policy and vision. This is the time we need a thinker and not a vision less leader” he explained.

He also purported that Dr. Bawumia is only competent candidate to salvage the nation’s economic woes.

“We are not running from the hardship. We admit the economic challenges confronting the country but Bawumia is honest and he is not like Mahama. If Bawumia is sent to the market to buy products and there is a change, he will return it. Let’s vote for Bawumia to transform the nation” he added.
