Dr Smart Sarpong Mocks Adwoa Safo – “You Now Speak Slangs But Delegates Don’t Understand”

Adwoa Safo was the subject of ridicule in Ghana after losing the Dome-Kwabenya Primaries.

A political analyst who was given a food for thought for all politicians said the Dome-Kwabenya MP’s lost did not shock him. He said, Adwoa Safo has refused to protect the interest of her constituents, Dr Smart Sarpong

“You can excuse parliament for so many reasons, you can tell the majority leader you need a rest and also inform some of the constituency executives about your condition then you can travel, even with that just act as you are really sick”

For the greater part of the past three years, however, she was accused of shirking her parliamentary duties and sabotaging government business as she was based in the United States of America.

Adwoa Safo’s defeat was therefore expected over what Dr Sarpong said will be a punishment from constituents but the margin has sent shock down the spines of Ghanaians.

“How can you come on TikTok and be talking in Slang, since when did she learn how to speak slangs. She made everybody aware that she she was comfortably enjoying life and delegates are very made at her”

Miss Safo who was confident about her re-election has lost her seat to her main contender, Chief Executive of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Michael Oquaye Jr.

The former Gender Minister had 326 votes while Mr Ocquaye secured a landslide victory with 1,104 votes.

The Researcher took shots when speaking on Wontumi TV/Radio in the early morning political talkshow programme hosted by Oheneba Nana Asiedu.

He regret that the downfall of most politicians have been as a result of distancing themselves from those who put them there and instead protect their personal interest
