A Senior Lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), Mr. Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey says digitalization has over exposed the country’s weaknesses.

According to him, impersonation was on the rise sometime ago. “It was very simple for people to change their identity wherever they found themselves. People usually changed their names at banks, hospitals DVLA offices and even at passport offices due the normal system we had but now, you can no longer do that in the digitalized world” he stressed. Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV on 13th February, 2024, he opined that digitalization is a policy that resonates with the Ghanaian.

He was passionate that, the digitalization policy incepted by the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will add value to the economy. “Digitalization will enhance trade, our business, transactions and other daily activities ” he further stated.
