The able chairman of Awutu Senya East constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Stephen Ofosu Agyare has hinched on his pledge to absorbed the fees of 8 fashion designers in the Constituency.

According to the digital chairman, absorbing their fees and graduating from the fashion school will cushion them to be productive in their respective lives thus the money which they ought to pay after graduation will be used to acquire all the basic tools needed to commence their own fashion work.

Hon. Agyare believes providing financial support to these fashion graduands would contribute towards both job creation and the development of livelihood needed for Awutu Senya East constituency.

Mr Agyare together with the Constituency executives, humbly honored the invitation of his constituents who graduated from the aforementioned fashion school.

Mr Agyare donated some undisclosed amounts to the eight (8) graduands to support them in their own setups.

Mr Agyare added that H.E John Mahama is committed to implementing the ‘National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) highlighted in the NDC 2020 Manifesto.

He further stated that a National Apprenticeship programme will be introduced to register all craftsmen and women across the country not excluding Awutu Senya East constituency.

According to him, this will make it easy for the next NDC government to finance the apprenticeship fees it has promised by his H.E John Dramani Mahama.
