The Ashanti Regional Communication Officer of the ruling New Patriotic Party,(NPP), Dannis Kwakwa has resigned in an official statement issued on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Mr Kwakwa explained that the decision was pursue other political goals in his political career.

He was, however, grateful to the rank and file of the party for the support and opportunity given him to serve.

Ghanaxpres.com exclusive has it that, Mr Paul Kwabena Yandoh, Administrator, Ashanti Regional Communications Directorate will be assigned to act as the regional communication officer of the party in the Ashanti Region.

Dannis Kwakwa in a Facebook post said, “The Mampong Agenda is now official. Dennis Kwakwa is the next member of parliament.”

Dear Sir,

RESIGNATION AS COMMUNICATION OFFICER – SHANTI REGION
I write to indicate my decision to resign from my position as the Communication
Officer for the Region,
Though I love and cherish working in
such a role, it is a requirement I have to fulfil
in order to pursue other political goals in my political career.
I shall forever
be grateful to you and the entire Regional Executive body for the
opportunity the team accorded me to contribute to the service of our great Party,
the New Patriotic Party.
