Binduri: NDC Candidate is surrounded by moles – Former MP

Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Binduri Dr Robert Kuganab-Lem, who recently lost the Binduri NDC parliamentary primaries, has alleged that the victor in the primaries, Lawyer Issifu Mahmoud, has surrounded himself with NDC moles that are in bed with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking in an interview with Bolgatanga-based Dreamz FM, Dr Kuganab-Lem claimed that these “treacherous” members of the NDC worked in concert with the NPP to ensure that he lost the 2020 parliamentary elections.

“I have confidence in him[ Issifu Mahmoud]. He is the best candidate because he has emerged victorious. What I’m honestly deflated about is the fact that he was supported by treacherous people, people who sold NDC in the past and are likely to sell NDC in the present,”he alleged.

Dr Kuganab-Lem won the 2016 parliamentary election but lost the 2020 election to the NPP’s Abdulai Abanga. He again lost the parliamentary primaries to newcomer Issifu Mahmoud.
