The New Patriotic Party(NPP) National Council will tomorrow February 19, 2024, receive the first list of members of the campaign team of the 2024 flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia barring any last-minute changes.

Information available to MyNewsGh.com reveals that a provisional 8-member team which would anchor the entire campaign, will be presented to the National Council for deliberations and approval pending the complete list.

Deep-throat sources reveal that the immediate-past Local Government Minister and Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dan Kwaku Botwe has been proposed as Campaign Chairman for the Bawumia 2024 project.

Dan Botwe is credited for his knowledge of the party’s grassroots operations, comes in with a wealth of experience in party reorganization and strategy to enable the NPP to retain power.

 

 

He would be supported by former Member of Parliament(MP) for Suhum, Frederick Opare-Ansah who was pivotal during the NPP flagbearer race tipped to be Campaign Manager.

Other members of the team are Sammi Awuku, a former National Organiser and Youth Organiser of the party, who is currently the Director General of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) would play a key role together with the likes of former NPP General Secretary and Presidential Spokesperson, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former Minister for Communications who is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of State Transport Company (STC), Nana Akomea.

Presidential staffer responsible for Local Government and Decentralization with additional responsibility as the Executive Secretary for the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee,  Dennis ‘Miracles’ Aboagye,  Former National Youth Organiser of the NPP and former Member of Parliament for Lawra, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo and Krobea Kwabena Asante.
