Bawumia can’t be president because he does not represent the true Northern values – Fiifi Kwetey

General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Fiiki Fiave Kwetey has asked the people of the Northern Region to ensure that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia does not rise to the apex leadership position in Ghana.

He is of the view that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia becoming president will be a disgrace to the people of the North because he does not represent the true values of the North.

“Northern Region, you need to do everything possible to ensure that that son of yours, who is an absolute disgrace and a humiliation to all of you, never rises to become the president of this country,” he said.

He continued, “You have been blessed to have a son who can be trusted and who has been known as the one who, like Kwame Nkrumah, Rawlings, and Prof. Mills, built Ghana but used little resources to deliver so much development for this country.

Another one has been a partner to Nana Akufo-Addo and has systematically seen the total collapse of this country. Total disgrace, a bunch of liars; they have no courage, and today he is running away from the economic disgrace and lying to everybody that he has become a digitalization champion. That is what happens when you are a coward; that is what happens when you’re a liar; that is what happens when you don’t have the courage. You are a liar, so you have to run away from the economy that you’ve disgraced into shouting today about digitization”.
