Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has announced that his team will be premiering another explosive investigative piece in January 2024.

According to the award-winning undercover journalist, this latest investigative piece which focuses on organized crime syndicate is shocking and gory.

The Tiger Eye PI founder made the disclosure at an event in Germany on the discussion of the role of undercover journalist in combating organized crime in Africa.

He said the documentary which will be shown on BBC Africa Eye and across other global news channels.

“The film that I have seen which is likely to be released on the BBC in January shocked me and I can tell you, get ready for a shocker on the BBC Africa Eye. It will go globally it will be on the world service. But even me, when I saw the film and I got to the middle, I got out and I went away. Because, the scenes are gory, people can be evil.”

He added: “At times people have this feeling that nothing is happening. I don’t think so, I think we are being impactful that we have pushed the frontiers of our democracy over the years over the years. It might be a slow growth in your eye but there’s been some growth. So despite all the difficulties on the continent, we have built both people and institutions. If we will not do the work who else will do it for us.”
