The Former  Member of Parliament (MP) for the Gomoa East Constituency in the Central Region, Mr Kojo Asemanyi is optimistic Kennedy Agyapong will on January 7, 2025 will be sworn in as the next President of Ghana.

He holds the view that the current President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will hand over power to the maverick businessman he described as a grassroots person.

Mr. Kojo Asemanyi who spoke to MyNewsGh.com’s reporter,  Asana Gordon after the Central Region’s Edition of the Showdown walk disclosed that signals show that President Nana Addo will surely hand over power to Kennedy Agyapong.

He again observed that the presidency was surely coming to the Central Regional since Kennedy Agyapong was the only candidate who could break that the eight.

“The next President of Ghana will come to the Central Region. Since Kennedy Agyapong is the only flagbearer from the area, President Akufo-Addo will hand over power to him in 2025”, he said

On his the Central Regional Youth Organizer of NPP, Kenneth Quansah said voting for Kennedy Agyapong is the simplest way for NPP to break the eight since Kennedy is appealing to Ghanaians due to Kennedy’s numerous job creation in the country.

The NPP will on November 4, 2023, go to the polls to elect a flagbearer. The political party is hoping to elect a leader who will help them win the 2024 elections and make history.

Over 200, 000 delegates of the party will take part in the presidential primary election of the party on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
