Aftermath of reshuffling: I was expecting more from Nana Addo – Ralph Osei

The constituency secretary for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Ralph Osei Owusu has expressed his dismay on the recent reshuffling by the president.

According to him, it was his expectation to see his member of Parliament, and former deputy minister for lands and natural resources, Benito Owusu Bioh being given a higher portfolio.

The president of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo on 14th February, 2024 reshuffled and appointed new ministers. This was done to relieve some ministers off their portfolios.

Expressing his disappointment in an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV, he stressed that, the member of Parliament had effortlessly and “deserved” an appointment .

“He has been working hard for the past years and has got the experience. The constituency was expecting to see him higher. ” he said.

He However opined that the reshuffling brings development in his constituency and the nation as a whole.

“I believe that the social contract is between the people and who they voted for. It is the winner of the elections who will justify the work at the end of the day. I think the president knows best about the substitution. Who to be removed, and who to continue ” He stressed.
