A/R: We are ready for Dec 2 election – NPP

The Ashanti Regional election committee says it is ready to hold the NPP primaries in the three orphan constituencies in the region as the party cleared 8 aspirants to contest for the elections in December 2
According to the Ashanti Regional Research and elections officer of the NPP, Nana Kofi Badu, the party is working with the security services to provide maximum safety for staff, election materials and all the delegates. He added that they are on cause to follow the same protocols use in the presidential elections on both August 26th and November 4th.

Speaking on Kumasi based Wontumi TV, the research offer told the host Nana Konadu Abu-Prah “the system and process put in place in the previous presidential elections are the same procedures we are using to make sure the elections are free and fair”

He said the party has engaged all stakeholders that may have a role to play in the election and all is set waiting for the election day

“Every body that matters in these election has been engaged just like the presidential primaries and we are assuring you of a peaceful election that will lead the NPP to victory come 2024”

“The party has corrected all errors and mistakes from the presidential elections and has putten in place all the needed solutions for any call for a red flag,” he added
