Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has named Manchester City as the best team in the world.

Pochettino said this after Chelsea’s 4-4 Premier League draw with Man City on Sunday.

DAILY POST recalls that goals from Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, and Rodri ensured both Man City and Chelsea drew at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at his post-match press conference after the game, Pochettino also said he was proud of his players for their performances against City.

“Very proud, so happy. I think the players deserve full credit. We face the team that for me, is the best team in the world,” Pochettino said.

“Too many circumstances that happen to make me proud. Still need to improve. It is the process when you want to build a project, build a journey. This type of experience will improve our team and now we need to use and translate to the future.”
