Kinsmen of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia have been urged not allow a glorious opportunity to have a President from the area to slip by.

Member of Parliament(MP) for Tolon Constituency and Deputy Majority Chief Whip, Alhaji Habib Issrisu observed that they will live to regret it if they toy with such an opportunity.

According to him, other areas wish they had the opportunity residents of Walewale has but they blew their chances and therefore want both delegates of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) as well as residents of the area to take cues from such wasted efforts.

“Others has such opportunities and wasted them, but I want to urge you to take advantage and produce a President for Ghana. If you allow this to slip by, it may take you more than 40 years to get such an opportunity that is if it would ever come. Rally behind your son, make him the NPP flagbearer and subsequently President of Ghana in 2024”, he advised at a public rally in Walewale.

He  reiterated that they will not rest until Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes President of Ghana and indicates that the chunk of work will be done in the second phase of November 4, 2023, and then on December 7, 2024.

Alhaji Habib Iddrisu therefore warned against complacency, indicating that they will not rest until Bawumia is sworn in as the next President of Ghana on January 7, 2024.

“The Super Delegates Conference was just heats for us to prepare ahead of the two major hurdles which are November 4, 2023 and December 7, 2024. We are going all out to work and ensure that the dream of making Bawumia President is not a mirage. As I speak to you, we are already back on the ground with engagements. No time to waste as there is much to be done”, he assured.
